 1965 Corsa all original
Slate interior great running car

 Mission Accomplished
1965 Corsa 140hp 4 speed.  Has the original drive train, has been restored to it's original colors of Tuxedo Black with a Slate interior, this car is quick.  A flaming river quick steering box, brand new wheels and tires, the paint and body work were expertly done by Rodamaker.  No bondo repairs, metal is welded in and only skim is used only to make it straight.  Black is difficult, but Jim's done a great job, again.   LA built car, it went to Montana then back to IA where we found it about 4 years ago.  It sat in the corner, waiting patiently, and now it's time to enjoy it.  The first slide show features the car as we found it a little over 4 years ago.  Ugly duckling, but LOTS of potential!
This slide show is a group of photos of the repair process..the paint and the interior makeover...   There were few rust places.  Inside the gas filler area, beneath the windshield area, it has a new windshield... a small place in the dog leg area of the front quarter....the car was good and solid...great floor boards, the inner panels and rockers are all very clean.   We used POR15 everywhere we could.    Jim Rodamaker is a real metal artist, no plastic filler used, just skim over the expertly welded repairs.
This last slide show is made up of photos after the car was finished.   We've had about 3 sets of wheels on it, This car would be a really good candidate for an all stock treatment!  We put this car together to keep.  John found and fell in love with the Marina Blue 67, so he would be willing to sell this one to the right buyer.   The first time marketing it was disappointing.  It is a reflection of the economy this year, so we have no problems keeping this one in the collection and enjoying it.  Give us a shout if you're an interested buyer!
